Executive Vice President and General Manager
Paul Greenberg is an experienced media, content, and technology leader, a two-time CEO, President and General Manager. He is currently Executive Vice President and General Manager at A+E Networks of both 45th & Dean, the company’s digital studio creating short-form branded and organic video across all company brands, and the cable network FYI. During his tenure, he has grown views and audience 175% and also created the #1 hit show on Facebook, the #2 show on Snapchat, and multiple hit shows on YouTube. FYI also became the most valuable upscale entertainment brand with the most affluent audience.
Prior to A+E Networks, Greenberg was CEO of Nylon, a leading international provider of fashion, music and pop culture content for Millennial females with digital, e-commerce, influencer, event and print assets. In his first year, he grew revenue an average of 150% year-over-year in several key categories; grew audience over 15x; and solidified multiple high-profile partnerships, including Amazon and Yahoo.
Previously, he was President of SFX, the largest global dance music company, where he closed multi-million-dollar deals with MasterCard, Heineken, Avis/Budget, and MTV. Prior to that, he was CEO of CollegeHumor (an IAC company), where he tripled revenue and traffic and oversaw three websites, a long-form TV development division and a film production division. He also grew CollegeHumor to become the #7 YouTube channel. Before that, as President, Digital of Time Inc. Lifestyle Group, he was responsible for 10 digital properties, which achieved 50% year-over-year audience growth.
In 2009, Greenberg was named one of The Hollywood Reporter’s “Top 50 Digital Power” executives while serving as Executive Vice President and General Manager of TV Guide Digital. During his tenure, Greenberg tripled revenue and grew audience 5x.
Prior to joining TV Guide, Greenberg served as Senior Vice President, Global Business Development and Partner Relations at MediaNet, a top digital music provider. Greenberg was previously Vice President, Business Operations at MTV Networks’ MTV.com. He began his career as a sports announcer at 1010 WINS in NYC.
Mr. Greenberg is very involved in the New York start-up community as a mentor for TechStars, First Growth Venture Network, and Entrepreneur’s Roundtable.
He earned a Bachelor’s degree from Columbia College and a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School.
